Noble County Miracle Tree was founded in 1987 by our Daisy Girl Scout Troop 173. There was a baby girl born in our town, weighing almost 2 lbs. Her parents couldn't afford Christmas with all the medical bills from having a child in the NICU. We Girl Scouts saw a need and wanted to help! After that year, we added more kids across the county of all ages. The founder, Terrie Beckley, then took it on as a project of her own so us girls wouldn't ever figure out who we were helping. We have evolved our mission through the years to meet the changing needs of the community we serve. We not only help at Christmas time, but we also help in situations of displacement, and Back to School needs, including haircuts! Without the help from of our you, our community & God, we would not have been able to sustain our program for as long as we have!
Noble County Miracle Tree Inc. has helped provide Christmas to those below or slightly above the poverty level since 1987! Every qualifying child will get toys & clothing. They will also receive a coat, boots, hats & gloves, shoes, and hygiene products if needed. We believe every child should have a Merry Christmas, regardless of their parents' situation.
Here at Noble County Miracle Tree Inc. we know some have become displaced, from a fire, domestic abuse, or foster situations. We want to help alleviate some of the stress by helping to provide clothes, shoes, coats, bedding, hygiene products, and toys to those affected. Also, a Bible to start over with, as we believe, standing on the word of God helps rebuild a strong foundation!
Miracle Tree would like every kid to start the school year with a backpack & supplies needed for a successful year. Along with supplies, we have several generous hairstylists who come in and donate their time to provide kids with a fresh new haircut (free of charge). Our hope is they can start the new year off with the confidence they deserve, by looking and feeling great!
Find a location near you. Take a tag, buy a gift, attach the tag to the gift (please do not wrap), and return to ANY tree location.
Contact us, and we will try to match a child to your preferences, e.g., boy or girl, age, and number of children. Each adoption requires at least 1 outfit and a few wish list items. Also, a coat, boots, & shoes if needed. Average spent per child should be $150-$200
With your monetary donation, 100% of your financial gift will go directly to buying Christmas gifts and or needs. There are usually a lot of tags at the end that didn't get taken. We take all the funds raised and go shopping to finish up those kids. Things most left behind are coats, boots, & shoes.
